Buying and Planner Associate
Haddad Brands Europe, founded in 2017, specializes in the distribution of children’s apparel under exclusive licenses (Nike, Levi’s, Converse, Jordan, Lacoste…) across Europe.
Operational for 8 years, the company has experienced remarkable growth and now counts over 500 employees throughout Europe.
We distribute our products both through wholesale, working with major multi-brand and specialized retailers, and through retail, via our corners in leading department stores.
In concrete terms, this means that if you purchase children’s apparel (0–7 years for Nike, 0–16 years for Levi’s, Converse, and Jordan), whether in a physical store, online, in the Netherlands, the UK, Italy, or anywhere else in Europe, the product you’re holding has gone through us — even if you bought it in an official Nike or Levi’s store!
We are currently looking for a Buying and Planner Associate.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Core responsibility is to create seasonal buy plan to achieve category financial plans and strategic objectives .
Develop and manage seasonal, yearly and three yearly forecasts by Brand, Category, Accounts, in partnership with sales teams.
Translate forecasted demand into accurate and timely buying decisions, driving conversion into confirmed orders that support commercial opportunities.
Work with merchandising to determine a seasonal style-colour-sized buy and optimal buying quantities and assortment and analyse previous sell in and sell out data to identify future opportunities.
Champion business analysis in order to anticipate business opportunities. Improve the accuracy and efficiency of planning and buying processes.
Build reports in order to monitor sales , inventory , margin at different granularity level and build projection . Responsible for other side projects .
Strong collaboration with sales and merchandising counterpart to ensure buy meets direct assortment plans by channel , SKU optimization and capacity plans are met .
Stock Inventory Control - Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent overstock or stockouts, optimizing inventory turnover and ensure coverage and on time availability.
Partner closely with Sales to translate account-level demand into actionable purchase plans, enabling strong orderbook management and account performance.
Support the Planning and Buying managers with operational tasks.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS :
3+ years of experience in demand planning and/or buying within fashion, sports retail, or a planning environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization; experience using Excel for data analysis and inventory management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision-making.
Proficiency in inventory management and data analysis tools.
